It’s Friday night here in Toronto,
The weekend is starting up…
And the question is – are you going to do something about it?
Are you going to go out and take action and grow and build connections and meet new people?
Let me tell you, taking action isn’t easy.
There are often a lot of things in your way.
Traffic, weather, your good clothes being in the laundry. All these things can keep you from taking action on a Friday night – if you let them.
But another thing that holds guys back is their beliefs.
I call these beliefs that hold you back “Sticking Points”.
- I know what to do, but when the time comes to do it, I just freeze.
- I realize what I’m doing wrong, but I just CANT fix it.
- I feel like I’m stuck in neutral, like I’m paralyzed.
- I over analyze things and don’t take the action that I wanted to do.
But I just wouldn’t do it!
If you’re interested, I wrote a really detailed blog post about how to get over sticking points.
Try reading it before you go out this weekend and see if you can identify and smash down some of your own sticking points.
You know, if there’s one thing that I’ve learned from my 10 years of coaching, it’s that we’re all in this together.
No matter where you’re from or what you’re like, chances are there are guys who have the exact same problems as you – and other guys who have overcome the same problems as you.
