When you’re trying to turn you dating life around, it can really help if you have a good wingman or buddy you can talk to and go out with.
You know, another single buddy you can go out with to bars or social events who is also into being outgoing and having fun.
Someone who makes you look cool and is fun to hang around with while you’re sharpening your social skills.
When you don’t have a wingman, or a good male friend to go out with, it can make you feel isolated. Going out and expanding your social circle isn’t that fun when you have to do it by yourself.
This can lead to a sort of social stagnation, where you have trouble getting your social life off the ground.
On the other hand, having a good “wingman” can be great for you. No matter what skill you are learning, another person can keep you accountable through the learning process.
A good wingman is like a gym buddy for your social life – someone who keeps you company and keeps you motivated, and pushes you when you need it.
While finding a good wingman might be hard, the reality is – good wingmen are not found, but made.
That is, the best way to find a buddy for going out and expanding your social circle is to take someone you have a good rapport with and get them excited about going out and expanding your social circle.
With that in mind, the first thing you need to do, is show your friend that it’s *fun* to go out and be extroverted. Don’t try to convince him to be your “wingman”, instead convince him that going out and being social is going to be fun.
Then, you need to show him that this stuff works. If you can open and get your buddy chatting with a cute girl, you’ll probably have him sold. Nothing works like success.
Finally, once your buddy is convinced that going out and improving your social skills is not only fun, but it actually leads to meeting new people (and attractive women), you can start introducing him to the idea of actually practicing your social skills deliberately. But it’s really better to introduce this idea *after* you have already shown him that you can have a good time by going out and being extraverted.
