In reply to my earlier announcement about the Social Mastery training group, I got this question….
“Chris, thanks so much for your emails. But here’s the deal – I have a relationship and it’s going great. I’m not really interested in running around and trying to meet women or “pick up” or anything like that.
On the other hand though, I feel like I am struggling socially. I am shy at parties and at social events. I feel like I’m always playing it safe in social situations. I don’t really feel like I’m being myself, especially when I’m around new people.
So, my question is – do you have any coaching that could be useful for a guy like me?”
One of the reasons I call this program the “Social Mastery” program is because it isn’t about “picking up” or chasing after women.
Instead, it’s about developing effortless charisma in a challenging environment.
Now, I’m not going to lie to you. We’re going to be going out to some pretty swanky nightclubs.
And yes, the skills of effortless conversation, charm and charisma are quite useful in relating to women.
And you’re probably going to be practicing your conversation skills on some attractive and classy women while we’re out.
And who knows, they might start to like you while you’re being all charming.
They might flirt with you and give you their phone numbers and ask you to call them.
But if all you’re looking for is better success with women then I think you’re probably not a good match for this program.
Let me explain why:
My approach has always been that improving your dating life comes from improving yourself and your skills. And when you focus on that – on being a more authentic and engaging person – well, other things come naturally.
And that’s not just my opinion. It’s something I have seen over and over again in my clients.
I’ve worked with countless guys who start working on their charisma they want to fix their dating lives. But later they find out out that the skills they learn help them at work, and in their personal relationships.
Now, I understand if you’re not interested in going to clubs because you’re in a relationship – I absolutely respect that.
But if you want to work on your social skills in general, nothing beats going out with a dedicated group of guys and practicing it in real life.
That’s what the Social Mastery program is really about.
